About

Hi there! I'm Hope, and I use this little blog to share what God has been teaching me.

I'm currently a junior in high school and call Texas home. I have a twin sister and two adorable dogs, and I love all three of them way too much! Writing, photography, road trips, deep conversations, and warm chocolate chip cookies are some of my all-time favorite things, and you can always catch me with a pencil or camera in hand. The Lord has recently placed a tug on my heart towards international missions, and my dream is to someday use my love for writing, Jesus, and others around me to serve in some sort of ministry role as a career. For now, I have the blessing of blogging here as well as getting to write for and work with two incredible collaborative blogs, Shell Read Truth and Devoted. I've also written guest posts for several other blogs, which you can find listed at the "Featured On" page on this site.

But most importantly...I am a daughter of Christ. As much as the things I listed above are a part of me, I know that my identity is truly found in Jesus. Each day I'm learning to step out of the titles, labels, and boundaries I place on myself and others and to see things more from my loving Father's point of view. It's a constant work in progress with lots of errors and mistakes, but I'm so thankful for the Lord's grace and presence in my life to guide me along each step of the way...and I pray that is what He does here for you too!

Most of the posts on this blog are just random thoughts from Saturday mornings as I sit in bed, dreaming up words on my computer or journal instead of working on homework that should already be finished. They're messy and silly and probably not always the most grammatically correct, but they are honest and real, and I pray the Lord uses them to bring maybe just a tiny bit of hope into your life.

My prayer for this blog is that each time you come here, you feel the presence and love of the Lord. I certainly don't have all the answers, but the Lord has placed these ideas and messages on my heart to share, and I'm just fully trusting Him wherever He wants to take them! Our God is good, and I pray that here, you and I can come to know His goodness better. Wherever you are, know that I am praying for you right now and love you already as my brother or sister in faith.

I can't wait to get to know you better, so please feel free to reach out anytime!

Lots of love,
Hope
